    Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, met with former U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., during a dinner banquet held in his honor at the White House. The meeting, attended by senior U.S. officials, underscored the ongoing strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the United States. At the outset, Sheikh Tahnoon conveyed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to President Trump, along with his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the American people.

    As part of his official visit, Sheikh Tahnoon also held talks with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, where they explored avenues to enhance financial and economic cooperation. Their discussions highlighted the strong business and investment links between the UAE and the U.S., with a focus on expanding opportunities in advanced technology and artificial intelligence. Additionally, Sheikh Tahnoon met with U.S. National Security Adviser Michael Waltz to discuss security cooperation and regional stability.

    He emphasized the transformative role of advanced technology in reshaping economies and driving sustainable global growth. Sheikh Tahnoon’s visit to the U.S. continues with scheduled meetings with senior U.S. administration officials and key business executives, aiming to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in strategic, economic, and technological fields.
